Automotive mobility meets Web3: Sony Honda Mobility launches an on-chain incentive platform, delivering the AFEELA 1 in 2026

【CryptoWorld】Sony Honda Mobility unveiled two new models at the latest International Consumer Electronics Show—the pre-production version of AFEELA 1 and a prototype for 2026. According to the plan, AFEELA 1 will begin delivery in California by the end of 2026, followed by entry into the Arizona market in 2027. The mass-produced version based on the latest prototype is scheduled to debut in the United States as early as 2028.

The focus of this launch is not just on traditional automotive products. Sony Honda Mobility explicitly aims to transform the travel space into a creative entertainment platform. Technologically, the new vehicle is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon digital chassis, significantly enhancing performance and computing power.

More notably, the ecosystem development part is worth attention. The company launched the “AFEELA Co-Creation Program,” opening its doors to developers. Additionally, they are developing an open on-chain mobility service platform based on a token incentive mechanism—meaning users’ travel behaviors, data contributions, and platform participation could all earn token rewards. The introduction of this Web3 innovative approach marks the first deep integration of blockchain incentive ecosystems into the traditional automotive industry.

Hmm... Delivery in 2026? Still a long wait then. Incentives on the link? That's the real focus, can users actually earn tokens? Sony and Honda getting into Web3, feels like they're serious this time. Token incentive platform + travel, this combo is promising, just worried it might end in failure. Snapdragon chips combined with on-chain ecosystem, hardware and software integration, worth paying attention to. Wait, can you really interact and make money on the chain, or is this just another hype project? Entertainment platform + Web3, Sony's move this time is quite impressive.

Ngl, I've seen this token incentive playbook too many times. Every time, it's about ecosystem and openness, but in the end? User behavior data is all on-chain, and as soon as the token inflation cycle hits, the price crashes. Are you really prepared to withstand this psychological impact?

I just want to ask, since it's not going to be delivered until 2026, is it a bit too early to be speculating on this now... But the on-chain incentives are indeed interesting. Users can earn coins while traveling? It has a bit of a social mining vibe.

Sony Honda is really gambling this time, delivering only in 2026. Will anyone still be waiting by then... On-chain incentives sound appealing, but I'm just worried it might be another scam to fleece investors. The Snapdragon chassis is hyped up so much; let's see how it actually performs when it runs. Developer programs... another ecosystem bubble? But trying it out doesn't hurt either. Travel + tokens, I still don't quite understand this logic. Can you make money, bro?

Sony Honda's move really brought Web3 into the automotive industry, it's quite interesting. Wait, token incentive mechanisms... Can you mine by just driving a car? I need to see how the earnings are calculated. Delivery is not until 2026, that time gap, I have to wait... Can it hold up until then?

Oh no, delivery in 2026? I can't even wait to buy now…… Honestly, I think on-chain incentives are really the standard for Web3, it all depends on whether it can truly be implemented. The Snapdragon digital chassis definitely has potential, but the token incentives feel more like empty promises haha. It's both co-creation and on-chain... Does Sony really want to build an ecosystem or just jump on the trend? Mass production in 2028... Everyone should probably look at other options first. I just want to know if this token will end up being another air coin... AFEELA sounds quite high-end, but the concept of Web3 cars is a bit mysterious.
