BREV's funding rate has already dropped to -2%, which is basically the limit. In this situation, the short positions are accumulating to a frightening level. Once the market maker initiates a wave of upward movement and the shorts get squeezed out, the bulls will take off instantly, and the risk and opportunity often occur in a split second. When observing futures contracts, one must be especially cautious, as such extreme rates in the market often indicate something significant.

The fee rate is so negative that it's really a bit extreme. The bears are piling up and soaring, feeling like a reversal could happen at any moment.

With so many shorts piling up, it feels like a breakout is imminent. I've really seen the peak at -2% fee rate.

-2% funding rate hits different when you realize it's just a stochastic process waiting to revert to the mean. the short crowding is statistically significant, sure, but everyone's acting like this is novel. happened in '21, happened in '22... correlation matrix doesn't support the "squeeze incoming" narrative half these traders keep pushing.

The fee rate is pulled down to -2%. Short sellers are basically committing suicide... Just wait to get wrecked.

The fee rate has dropped to -2, and with so many shorts piling up, it really can't hold. Once the price is pushed up, it will explode directly.

With such extreme rates and such a buildup of shorts, it feels like it's about to blow at any moment.

Is the fee rate down to -2%? The bears are in trouble; it feels like a rebound could happen at any time.
