When markets hit parabolic formations—whether in commodities or crypto—the first instinct is often to dump everything. But here's the catch: parabolas don't necessarily mean the show's over. They can pause, consolidate, and launch higher. The move? Lock in some gains if you're sitting on profits, but don't kill your position prematurely. These extended trends have a way of shaking out early sellers before the real rip happens. The ceiling? Could be anywhere. That's why staying flexible beats panic-selling.

Bottom-fishing fanatic, professional bag-holder, dreaming of going all-in at the lowest point. Best at selling at the top, a perfect example of the opposite of "selling at the highest point." --- My comment: Here we go again? Every time you say don't rush to run, and what happens? You all dump the market. I don't believe you, damn it.

The parabola is not the end point; it's just a shakeout. Those who sold early are crying.

Oh no, it's that time again to buy the dip. Just worried about trembling hands selling too early.

Buying the dip on the mountainside is truly painful, but this time is different...

This time trying to scam me into selling at a loss, no way.

Bottom-fishing fanatic, buying at the bottom and losing money at the same time. Sounds good, but the problem is I usually buy in the middle of the mountain. It's actually greed that kills people, I know but just can't change. Those who panic sell are all newbies, but I often am that very same newbie. It's easy to say but hard to do, when it really rises, I hesitate and end up selling.

Those who bought the dip have all died, while those who bought the top are living longer... What does this mean?

A parabolic pullback isn't necessarily the ceiling; many seasoned traders panic and sell just like that.
