The Bermuda government announced a partnership with Coinbase and Circle to promote the development of a blockchain-based "end-to-end" economic system. The plan includes piloting stablecoin payments within government departments, promoting the use of USDC among local merchants, and supporting financial institutions in introducing tokenized and other digital financial tools. The related plans will be announced during the World Economic Forum annual meeting. Partners will provide infrastructure and technical support to the government, banks, insurance institutions, SMEs, and consumers, as well as conduct digital financial education and technical access.
