The current approach of bringing in major stakeholders primarily to accept fees while contributing minimal value to the ecosystem represents a fundamentally flawed strategy. This model essentially rewards individuals for participating passively, while active community members shoulder the actual work and ecosystem development responsibilities. When the incentive structure fails to align contributor effort with financial rewards, it creates a misalignment that undermines ecosystem credibility and long-term sustainability. This kind of fee-extraction model without meaningful participation contributions has to be one of the weakest meta moves I've witnessed in this space.

The passive income model is truly deadly, a vampire-like mechanism...

Really, I've seen this kind of money-grabbing tactic too many times. Big players come in, just pay some money, and it's done; meanwhile, the real builders work themselves to death...

ngl I've been tired of this trick of harvesting profits from newcomers for a long time. Big players come in to earn transaction fees passively, while actual arbitrage traders end up with no profit...

Oh my, this is the scene where the Web3 decentralization spirit gets betrayed. Big players with empty positions come in to harvest the gains, while the real workers end up becoming laborers. Even economists would shake their heads after seeing this.
