The recovery of the US job market, reflecting improvements in the non-farm employment index, has become even more evident. According to the latest data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported by PANews, the number of new non-farm jobs for April and May was significantly revised upward on July 3rd.

Specifically, the April non-farm new jobs were increased from 147,000 to 158,000, and for May, from 139,000 to 144,000. This means a total of 16,000 additional jobs were newly counted over the two months.

This revision by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics suggests that the actual strength of the employment market was stronger than initially assessed, leading to improvements in the non-farm employment index.
