Earlier this year, I almost decided not to participate in speaking conferences anymore. Truly, almost did.
Over the past two years, it felt like all topics were repetitive, old stories; the current crypto world is really a bit boring.
Until last week, the day of the Red Bull racing team’s collaboration.
Initially, I planned to spend only 5 minutes summarizing our partnership last year, sharing the success story of the digital collection activity “IN THE MOMENT” with other sponsors.
The reality went like this:
🕒 At first, they only told me I could speak for 2 minutes, I didn’t expect much
🔗 I intentionally linked the content to this morning’s sharing to make it more relevant
😄 By the way, I opened a few familiar jokes ( to help lighten the mood )
🗣️ All in the simplest English, without technical terms or jargon
Unexpectedly, after finishing, many partners proactively came to say they really enjoyed my sharing part, felt I spoke very well.
Of course, among them, there were definitely some polite small talk, courteous compliments. But they didn’t know that these responses reignited my desire to continue sharing.
For many of these friends, I might have spoken too much already.
But for 94% of people worldwide who have never truly been exposed to crypto, what I said might be the first time they hear about crypto — just like partners from finance, telecommunications, luxury, automotive, mobility, hotel, lifestyle, and consumer electronics sectors of the Red Bull team.
The path to mainstream adoption is still long, but moments like this will suddenly remind people: it’s still worth continuing.#GoldAndSilverHitRecordHighs
