Putin and Lukashenko held a phone call to discuss the Russia-Ukraine conflict and bilateral agenda among other topics.

Jin10 data reported on August 8th, local time on the 8th, Russian President Putin had a phone call with Belarusian President Lukashenko. The Kremlin reported the contents of the call. During the call, Putin focused on the recent contacts between Russia and the United States, particularly the results of the talks with U.S. presidential envoy Whittaker on the 6th. Lukashenko expressed gratitude for this and highly praised the efforts to promote a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine issue. The two sides also discussed several topics on the bilateral agenda.
