Introduction to Blockchain New Book Launch Focuses on Industry Development and Technological Innovation

Recently, a book promotion event for the new book "Building a New Ecosystem of Blockchain Digital" with the theme of "Co-Building a Blockchain Digital New Ecosystem" was successfully held online. As the editor-in-chief, Professor Chen Zhong from Peking University School of Information Technology and Shan Zhiguang, Director of the Department of Informatization and Industrial Development at the National Information Center, attended the event and shared unique insights on blockchain underlying technologies and industry development trends.

Dan Zhiguang pointed out that blockchain is essentially a distributed database that provides trust attributes. As an emerging method for data storage and transmission on the Internet, it effectively addresses the shortcomings of the Internet in terms of trustworthiness. He predicts that with the continuous expansion of application scenarios, blockchain will play an important role in promoting the development of the digital industry.

Chen Zhongze emphasized that to fully leverage the potential of Blockchain, efforts need to be sustained in five directions in the future: strengthening the independent innovation of core technologies of alliance chains, promoting Blockchain standardization, deepening the industrialization process of Blockchain, assisting in regulatory technology innovation, and advancing the modernization of social governance.

As the deputy editor-in-chief, Yuan Yuming, CEO of a technology company, stated that the overall scale of the blockchain market still has enormous potential for development, and it is ushering in a new era of the digital economy. Li Hui, executive director of the company's research institute, introduced that this textbook is one of the first professional textbooks in the blockchain field in China, aimed at helping readers grasp the basic principles and concepts of blockchain, understand its fundamental application scenarios, and enhance their understanding and application capabilities of blockchain technology.

It is reported that this textbook was carefully compiled over a year and a half by an editorial committee composed of 22 experts and scholars from 8 top universities and 6 enterprises and institutions. At the promotion meeting, several members of the editorial committee also participated in a roundtable discussion to jointly explore the development path of Blockchain in the integration of industry, academia, and research.

It is worth noting that in 2021, Blockchain showed an accelerated development trend in industrial applications. Professor Deng Jianpeng from the Law School of Central University of Finance and Economics pointed out that NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) provide proof of uniqueness for digital assets, which may be widely used in areas such as asset on-chain in the future. Xiang Lipeng, a senior engineer from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Fifth Electronics Institute, stated that Blockchain is developing towards digital governance, intelligence, refinement, and legalization, empowering government systems and accelerating the modernization process of social governance.

Pei Qingqi, the executive director of a key laboratory in Shaanxi Province, believes that the combination of Blockchain and privacy computing can significantly enhance the credibility and value of data, driving the transformation of the data market. Tan Min, the head of the digital economy technology promotion group of a certain telecommunications company, emphasized that the reconstruction of the future internet will definitely integrate Blockchain, privacy computing, and distributed technology.

Currently, Blockchain has become the core element of digital industry development. Some enterprises are deeply exploring the integrated development of production, education, research, and application of Blockchain, achieving significant results in areas such as industry standard formulation, product technology research and development, empowerment of the real economy, construction of educational training systems, and ecological industry development.

Yuan Yuming stated that under the major trend of the digital transformation of the world economy, blockchain, as the cornerstone of digital economic development, will provide more people with opportunities to understand and learn, helping to discover new opportunities for the development of the digital economy.
