Bitcoin conference sparks heated discussions, with several politicians expressing support for Crypto Assets.

Recently, the 2024 Bitcoin Conference concluded in Nashville, Tennessee. This conference attracted many well-known figures, once again bringing Crypto Assets to the forefront of attention across the United States.

Multiple political figures made remarkable statements at the conference. One presidential candidate promised that if elected, they would issue three executive orders related to Bitcoin. These orders include transferring the Bitcoin held by the government to the Treasury as a strategic asset, instructing the Treasury to purchase Bitcoin daily, and declaring that transactions between Bitcoin and the dollar would be tax-exempt.

A senator from Wyoming stated that she would propose a measure directing the U.S. Treasury to purchase 1 million Bitcoins over the next five years. She believes this is to offset the impact of the devaluation of the dollar. The senator has long supported Bitcoin and has been committed to promoting Crypto Assets legislation.

A former employee of the National Security Agency highlighted the pitfalls of political allegiance and the privacy issues surrounding Bitcoin in a keynote speech at the conference. He pointed out that Bitcoin transactions are not completely anonymous and could potentially be traced back to individuals through various channels, posing a risk to privacy.

However, the conference also sparked some controversy. Observers pointed out that there is a gender imbalance issue in the crypto industry. According to statistics, only about 13% of the speakers at this conference were women, a figure that has remained low in recent years. In contrast, the proportion of female speakers at conferences in other technology fields is much higher.

A recent survey by the Women in Crypto Assets Association shows that 82% of the women surveyed believe that there is a problem with sexual harassment in the industry. This has raised concerns about the culture in the industry.

Nevertheless, some crypto companies have begun to take measures to address this issue. For example, some companies have terminated partnerships due to inappropriate parties hosted by their partners. Some founders of blockchain companies have also resigned due to allegations of misconduct.

The conference also noted this issue and specially arranged a "Women's Brunch" event to promote gender inclusivity. These efforts demonstrate that the industry is gradually recognizing and trying to address this problem.

Overall, the 2024 Bitcoin Conference not only showcased the influence of Crypto Assets in the political arena but also exposed some of the challenges the industry faces. As Crypto Assets gradually move into the mainstream, how to build a more inclusive and diverse industry environment will become a continuous issue that needs attention in the future.

What other statements and phenomena worth paying attention to are there at the Bitcoin conference besides Trump's speech?
