Strong U.S. employment data, market focuses on non-farm report

On August 28, analysts evaluated the initial jobless claims data in the United States and pointed out that this data performed strongly, especially considering the downward revision of continued claims for unemployment benefits. The jobless claims data continues to confirm the resilience of the labor market. The market's focus will now shift to the employment component of the ISM Purchasing Managers' Index, ADP private employment data, and the U.S. non-farm payroll report.
