The U.S. Court of Appeals voted 7-4 to overturn all of President Trump's tariff policies! The court believes that President Trump overstepped his authority by invoking the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, including high tariffs of 10% on various countries as well as China, Canada, Southeast Asia, the EU, and Japan!
Trump has several options ahead: 1. Immediately appeal to the Supreme Court; 2. Congress enact a new law! 3. Congress grant emergency authorization! 4. Cite other legislation.
In short, we will definitely go all the way! Getting the Supreme Court to support Trump is not so easy! I guess there is a high probability it will go back to Congress to enact new laws...
