Ali İhsan Güngör, Deputy Chairman of the Capital Markets Board (SPK), stated that with the regulations introduced to the crypto sector, crypto influencers are now also on the radar.

In his speech at Istanbul Blockchain Week, Güngör stated, “Our approach to other products also applies to the crypto sector, as it is now regulated and thus also on the radar. Individuals need to pay attention to their social media shares. Everything that applies to the stock market also applies here.”

Güngör also emphasized that the impact created by cryptocurrency phenomena is not only a problem in Turkey but also on a global scale. Additionally, he highlighted that this problem is not limited to the crypto sector alone. The Deputy Chairman of the Capital Markets Board stated that the legal provisions regarding the issue are clear and added that along with the accumulation in the stock market, precedents have also been established.
