2.12 Billion XRP Tokens Join the Evernode Airdrop Frenzy - Crypto News Flash

• Per a recent registration update, Evernode has recorded 23,858 XRP addresses
• Ahead of the upcoming airdrop, Evernode advises participants to register their XRPL r-address

Activities on the Evernode platform have increased as the XRPL community members get active in preparation for the Evernode (EVERS) airdrop. According to a recent announcement shared with X, formerly Twitter by Evernode, a significant number of community members have signed up in anticipation of the upcoming airdrop.

Notably, 23,858 XRP addresses have already signed up for the highly anticipated airdrop, according to Evenode’s more recent registration update. The new development highlights the speed at which community members are taking action, especially XRP users.

It is worth noting that a larger amount of registration came from two leading cryptocurrency exchanges; Bitrue and Uphold crypto exchanges, merging tons of airdrop wallets.

Additionally, XRPL wallets are leading in the number of tokens contributed by users. A staggering 261 million were added by said XRPL wallets. On the other hand, 1.86 billion tokens were contributed by users from the Uphold and Bitrue crypto exchanges.

Sharing more details on the airdrop from XRP holders, Evenode made an official announcement explaining that the network had initially planned to launch the airdrop on the XRPL. However, having recorded a change of plan, the airdrop is more complicated.

The announcement also explained the complexity of the situation at hand, stating that the Xumm wallet is the only wallet that allows access to airdrops.

We’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible, but there is an irreducible level of complexity. One layer of this complexity is our reliance on the Xumm wallet as the only wallet that we are certain will support all the functionality necessary to claim the airdrop.

Participants are advised to register their Public XRPL r-address before the 11th of December as registration closes on the 11th of December at 6:00 PM (AEDT).

Participants must import their r-address onto Xahau and set a trustline for the Evers issuing address between the aforementioned period. The launch is scheduled to take place on the 18th of December. Users can later send a claim transaction to the Airdrop Hook from their registered r-address on Xahau.

A total of 72.25 million tokens are being offered by Evernode and 28 percent of these tokens are to be distributed between its founders, XRP holders, and beta testers. The rest will be kept away for post-launch host rewards.
