Tiger Securities in mainland China violates regulations to attract customers, Futu Securities suspends account opening for existing mainland users.
Jin10 reported on June 5th that the reporter learned that Futu Securities has fully suspended the opening of accounts with existing proof for mainland users. "Currently, we do not accept the opening of accounts with existing proof. Mainland customers are limited to those who actually work/live abroad and must provide: a valid mainland identification (passport only is not supported) and proof of work or residence in Hong Kong/Macau issued within the last three months," Futu Securities customer service told the reporter.
