Starknet plans to activate STRK stake functionality in its ecosystem in October, and a related proposal vote will be conducted in September.
PANews August 20th news, ETH Layer 2 network Starknet announced on X platform that STRK holders will vote for the first time on Mainnet to introduce STRK staking functionality into the Starknet ecosystem. STRK holders will have the opportunity to express their opinions on the proposed minting mechanism and its parameter modification conditions. According to the governance post shared, although the exact deployment schedule of this functionality has not been determined, staking is expected to launch in October. The proposed voting schedule is as follows: test voting period (3 days) from September 2nd to September 4th, 2024, voting period (5 days) from September 9th to September 13th, 2024.
