Cryptocurrency Detective ZachXBT Warns About Ripple (XRP)! "Assets in the Hands of the Founder..."
After US President Donald Trump announced the US Strategic Cryptocurrency Reserve yesterday evening, major cryptocurrencies of US origin, including **Ripple's (XRP)****, came to the fore.
However, cryptocurrency detective ZachXBT warned in his statement due to the large amount of XRP in the hands of Ripple management. According to the analyst, Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen reported that there are more than 2.7 billion XRP in XRP addresses, worth a total of $7.18 billion.
At these addresses, in January 2025, the central crypto currency exchanges transferred XRP worth 109 million dollars.
However, ZachXBT said in a statement that some of the addresses it monitors have been inactive for 6-7 years, and that Larsen may have lost access to these addresses or sold them in February 2013. He also recalled that early last year, Larsen was the victim of a $112 million hack.
The planned cryptocurrency reserve includes Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL) and Ethereum (ETH) as well as XRP as an altcoin.
