The new version is really worth seeing! My real experience report on Gate v8.0.5.

I just updated to version 8.0.5 of the Gate APP, and after using it for a day, I couldn't wait to share my thoughts. In summary: this update is indeed full of sincerity, and the experience improvement is visibly noticeable.

🎯 The feature that surprised me the most: completely new layout of the market page

The new version of the market display logic is clearer!
The sections that used to require horizontal scrolling have now been intelligently integrated, making the switch between the watchlist and the price change leaderboard much smoother. Notably, the loading speed of the candlestick chart has improved—previously, it would occasionally lag during significant fluctuations, but now even the 1-minute chart scrolls very smoothly, which is a great help for me as a short-term trader.

✨ Favorite Improvement: Trading Execution Speed

I specifically tested a few trades during rapid fluctuations in BTC, and the delay from placing an order to execution has noticeably decreased. The response of limit orders for placing and canceling has become faster, which provides a real sense of security during volatile market conditions. The animation for order confirmation has also been fine-tuned to better align with intuitive operation.

📱 Interface and Operation: Lighter and More Focused

The most significant visual change is the redesign of the bottom navigation bar, with a more modern icon style that makes key functions clear at a glance. The information density on the "Assets" page has also been optimized, showing total assets, distribution of various currencies, earnings curve... everything that should be seen is visible at a glance, without feeling crowded.

The contrast in dark mode seems to have been adjusted as well, making it less tiring for the eyes to look at the screen for a long time.
