#数字资产市场动态 $ETH $BTC $ZEC

🔒 Once again, a security incident has exposed the vulnerabilities in storing crypto assets.

This time, a well-known decentralized wallet was targeted. Hackers implanted malicious updates to the software, stealing assets worth $2.31 million. So far, the scope of the attack has expanded to $7 million. The hackers first completed a transaction on the BSC chain, then split into multiple actions—14.7 BTC, 143.49 ETH, 240,000 BNB, and even cross-chain transfers of various stablecoins. This operation revealed a serious issue: the update process itself became a breach point for hackers.

The wallet team responded swiftly, announcing full compensation for all affected users. They emphasized that funds are safe (SAFU), but this reassurance carries less weight. The root of the problem lies not in the compensation promise but in vulnerabilities within the smart contract auditing and update procedures. The team is still investigating how exactly the hackers infiltrated, while urging users to follow official guidelines to enhance security and take immediate action to protect their assets.

This incident once again demonstrates that security is not just about installing a wallet; it’s an ongoing system engineering process. Project teams need to strengthen auditing standards, and users must be more vigilant—multi-signature verification, regular updates, and storing critical assets on hardware wallets. In the blockchain world, true security comes from continuous risk awareness and scientific prevention. Small vulnerabilities can cause big problems; meticulousness is fundamental. 🛡

Without security, everything is just empty talk.

Here it comes again, are version updates not safe? Then what am I still daring to touch --- $7 million... really reminds me to transfer to a hardware wallet quickly --- Where is SAFU, even compensation is not acceptable, trust is shattered --- This wave of hackers is truly detail-oriented, still trying to whitewash cross-chain transfers of stablecoins --- Multi-signature verification, hardware wallets, I'm tired of hearing about them... the key is, who is really using them --- Every time they say they will strengthen audits, but next time something still happens, it's ridiculous --- I just want to ask, how can I safely hold coins, everyone --- The wallet team reacts quickly, but does this solve the fundamental problem? Feels like just patching it again

Here we go again. Every time, they say SAFU, and then it drops the ball. Can't even prevent basic flaws like version updates? Hackers operate aggressively, and 7 million USD is gone in an instant. How much compensation does that require? A hardware wallet isn't standard equipment, yet some still leave large amounts in wallets waiting to be exploited?

$7 million lost, no matter how loudly SAFU shouts, it’s useless Once again, a version update is a trap, this time really can't hold on anymore Hardware wallets should really become standard; otherwise, I can't sleep peacefully The hacker's operation process is extremely outrageous, multi-chain transfers run away very quickly To put it simply, it's still the audit process that’s too weak, the trust cost is too high

Here we go again. I told you not to trust wallet version updates. Are reputable projects always this grand? Hardware wallets really should be considered essential; SAFU alone can't save everything. 7 million USD, bro. How long will this compensation last?

Version updates have become intrusion points, which indicates that access control has not been properly implemented. It's the same old story of missing audits.

Here we go again, audits are just a formality. Saying there's no issue with $7 million is just that—nothing. This is what they call SAFU. Hardware wallets still have to rely on yourself; don't expect wallet manufacturers. Version updates can be exploited too—these auditors are just for show. Full compensation? Just listen, the key is how to prevent it next time. Wallet security = my security, need to be more careful. Hackers' methods are truly ruthless, starting from the version itself—really brutal.
