Coders all understand this principle — how you name variables determines how the entire system operates. Name a variable 'bug,' and the code will challenge you in various ways. Rename it 'optimization,' and everything becomes a story of progress.

Frankly, this logic applies just as well to life. How you define yourself determines the direction you take. Calling your failures 'experience' or 'failure,' and whether you see challenges as 'opportunities' or 'problems,' may seem like just a change in wording, but in reality, it rewrites the code of your entire life.

So don't passively accept others' definitions of you. Learning to rename yourself is the beginning of mastering your own life.
