Recently, I thought about it, and there is a saying in this market that really resonates with me — those who can't figure out the big picture won't be able to take the right step in the present.

Simply put, you need to see the road ahead to have a future. Either you have a global perspective, or you are destined to be trapped by local issues. People with long-term vision see everything with a long-range outlook; those who plan carefully consider every move with the goal of profit in mind.

After spending a long time in the crypto world, I realize that short-term gains and losses are not worth judging. One or two successes or failures are not decisive factors. If you lack talent, then keep refining your skills; only those who are unafraid of storms can stand out among many followers. The biggest mistake in trading is being blinded by short-term price fluctuations and forgetting your original intention and the bigger picture.

That's right, but how many can actually do it?

Said nicely, but how many can really stick to it? --- Global perspective sounds great, but as soon as it drops 30%, everyone forgets --- Repeated polishing? Our market only eats fast food; talking about long-term is just self-comfort for losers --- I just want to ask, why are there so few who make big money after seeing the clear direction? --- This phrase has been heard so many times; those who really make money are quietly getting rich --- Original intention? Bro, my original intention is to make money, what else is there? --- Getting stuck locally? Haha, that's a false proposition, right? --- Translating this directly means—if you can't endure, don't play; you won't make it to tomorrow --- Not afraid of storms? A sudden market crash makes everything else pointless --- Remember everything is right, but doing everything is wrong; that's how the crypto circle is

That's correct, but I think most people simply can't do it.

honestly the "big picture vs local trap" framing is just survivorship bias dressed up fancy. plenty of people with grand visions still got liquidated anyway lol

Not bad, but buddy, that sounds a bit idealistic. Anyone who has really been in the crypto world knows that no matter how clear the big picture is, a sudden black swan can wipe out everything in an instant. But it's true that I should quit the habit of checking the charts frequently; that stuff can mess up your mind. Long-termism sounds very attractive, but you have to survive long enough to see that long-term. In this market cycle, those who got wiped out are all those who thought they understood the big picture.
