Meta's multi-billion dollar acquisition of Manus is indeed explosive news in China's AI industry, and Chinese AI application-level products are truly outperforming many domestic American projects in speed.
Originally criticized as a "shell" product launched less than a year ago, it unexpectedly received a glamorous acquisition and exited in time, embracing the social AI leader's advantage, and in the future, it will likely develop AI into high-frequency scenarios.
I mentioned in my social circle at the beginning of the year that I have been a deep user of Monica for over two years, so Zuckerberg still prefers AI products with strong social 2C genes. Meta AI Lab clearly favors Chinese AI founders' genes.
Who says the US doesn't invest in projects with Chinese capital backgrounds? Manus is also very smart, cutting its CapTable early and focusing on US compliance.
An excellent business case for AI going global. Once again, congratulations to Manus!
