As 2026 approaches, discussions about the altcoin market are dwindling. A quick observation reveals that the entire market's gains are essentially monopolized by Bitcoin and Ethereum, with only a few of the top 100 coins truly breaking their all-time highs.
Behind this phenomenon lies a problem: when only the leading coins have the potential for rapid wealth, do retail investors still have the motivation to participate? Without the stories of "high returns with low multiples" in altcoins, investors lose their reasons to enter the market, and capital flow inevitably becomes more concentrated.
The result is a continuous shrinkage of liquidity. Large investors no longer find new opportunities to profit, small and medium investors get neither the meat nor the broth, only left with scraps. If this continues, Bitcoin's吸金效应 will become increasingly strong, but the overall ecosystem's participation enthusiasm will actually decline. In the long run, when liquidity dries up to a certain point, the risk of a collapse will also increase.
