Today is my second day getting a filling. I got out of bed at 6:50 AM today, waited half a day for the bus, but it didn’t come. After 7:30, it finally arrived. I took an hour to get to the county seat, then walked 4,000 steps to the hospital. When I went up to the second floor, I saw many people getting fillings, so I had to wait in line. When it was my turn, the doctor said I had a filling before. I said yes, you told me to come this Tuesday or Wednesday. Then the dentist started drilling my tooth. After a while, I said it hurt, so he paused. Not long after, I couldn’t bear it anymore. The doctor said to do it next time, then filled the cavity with medication. I asked when I should come next time, and he said around the 8th or 9th. I left because there were many people waiting, and I didn’t ask much. I sat on the bus after leaving the hospital. I searched on Xiaohongshu for “tooth filling pain” and saw many people say it hurts. Some said that anesthesia makes it painless, but I didn’t see the doctor mention anesthesia while drilling. Maybe it’s because this is a small hospital without anesthesia procedures.
Brothers and sisters who have had fillings, tell me, does it hurt?
This tooth is decayed. It’s been decayed for many years. Last Tuesday, I suddenly had toothache all night and couldn’t sleep, so I decided to get it filled.
