We ended up filtering out quite a lot of people through our screening process. Looking back, some rejections probably came down to what I'd call "AI-assisted slop"—not full-blown bot spam, but accounts that were clearly using AI to generate or heavily polish their tweets. It's an interesting gray area in the community right now. People aren't technically breaking rules, but the vibe feels off when you spot it. Hard to say if we were too strict or if the bar for authentic engagement should just be higher across the board.

It's really hard to judge whether AI polishing tweets are genuine or fake. How do you determine their authenticity?

Tweets polished by AI can really be spotted at a glance, it feels just like chatting with a machine.
