Reflecting on the current state of AI reveals some issues: Where does the data come from? Who controls the models? How are the results verified? Most of it operates as closed-source black boxes.

This is also why some are developing an alternative approach—not simply stacking parameters to create more powerful AI, but building a decentralized AI ecosystem. Making data ownership, model control, and verification mechanisms all transparent and traceable.

This paradigm shift might be the direction of the next wave: from a few giants monopolizing black-box AI to an open, transparent, and verifiable distributed intelligence system. Whether you believe it or not, the competition in this track has already begun.

Black box AI indeed needs someone to challenge it, but can decentralization truly solve the data quality problem? I’d like to see.

nah but real talk... decentralized ai sounds nice until you calculate the verification costs. like who's gonna pay for all those nodes validating? gas fees gonna make it a whale's game anyway lol

Decentralization sounds great, but in reality, it's probably a hellish mode to implement... Who will arbitrate over data ownership?

Black box AI is indeed annoying, but can decentralization actually be implemented? I'm skeptical about it. You're right, basically everything is monopolized by a few major companies now, and data sources aren't transparent either. This direction is definitely worth paying attention to, but the technical difficulty shouldn't be underestimated. Decentralization sounds great, but it seems like it would be quite messy to actually execute. Compared to stacking parameters, transparency has really been neglected for too long. I'm optimistic about this approach, but the implementation cycle might be longer than expected. Competition in the track has already started, but it still feels like we need to wait for major companies to really pay attention.

Another story about decentralized AI? Sounds good, but where's the implementation? Black boxes are indeed annoying. --- It sounds nice, but how to guarantee data ownership? Isn't that just another form of monopoly? --- I've been hearing about decentralized AI for five years. When will it actually be usable? --- The logic is fine, but the question is, who will be responsible for the results? --- Huh? Do big players with so much money willingly give up power? You're overthinking it. --- Finally, someone has pointed out that current models are just black box gambling. --- The competition in the field has begun. I like to hear that, but it depends on who is leading. --- Decentralization is good, but I'm afraid it might turn into another form of centralization.

Black box AI has long deserved to be criticized. It's too outrageous that a few big companies monopolize the market now. I believe in the path of decentralization. OpenAI's people claim to be open source, but in reality, they are more closed than ever, which is quite ironic. Are you trying to trick me into buying coins again? No thanks. Distributed AI is a good concept, but what about implementation... Data ownership definitely needs to change. The data collectors haven't cared for too long. Wait, who is responsible for verification? We still have to trust certain people; they just changed their masks. We've been hyping the next wave for so long, but we haven't seen it yet... This is what Web3 should be doing. It's not about issuing tokens to cut the leeks; I think there's potential.

Black box AI should have been broken long ago. The giants have been monopolizing data for too long. Decentralization sounds good in theory, but I'm afraid it will just become a new tool for cutting leeks... There are very few projects that truly achieve transparency and traceability. Stacking up parameters doesn't mean much; if the data source isn't clear, it's just cheating. This wave has indeed started, but who will survive until the end is uncertain.
