Others are fearful while I am greedy! Still bullish, already oversold! When the market is bearish, it’s the perfect time to build long positions!
On January 26, according to Coinglass data, Bitcoin dropped to around $86,000 in the early hours today, currently at $86,683. The mainstream CEX and DEX funding rates show a fully bearish market, with only Bitcoin rates positive. ETH rates on major platforms have all turned negative. Specific funding rates for mainstream coins are shown in the attached chart.

BlockBeats Note: Funding rates are set by cryptocurrency trading platforms to maintain the balance between contract prices and the underlying asset prices, typically applicable to perpetual contracts. It is a mechanism for fund exchange between long and short traders. The trading platform does not charge this fee; it is used to adjust the cost or profit for traders holding contracts, keeping contract prices close to the underlying asset prices.

When the funding rate is 0.01%, it indicates the baseline rate. When the funding rate exceeds 0.01%, it generally signals a bullish market. When the funding rate is below 0.005%, it generally indicates a bearish market.
