A series of EXTREMELY HARSH predictions for 2026 are being discussed on X:
• Many crypto VC funds will stop investing.
• Many startups born between 2024–2025 will be wiped out.
• Many emerging creators will give up and stop posting.
• Many users will leave.
And this is good because in recent years, this market has been overly pumped, not creating real value.
Venture capitalists enter only to exit early.
Projects are mainly created to raise funds and dump tokens.
Users try out just to hunt for airdrops.
Bloggers write articles to farm yaps, farm interactions.
The lifecycle of a protocol, from several years, has been shortened to just a few months.
An entire chain of liquidity creation for exit scams, legal loopholes, to the point where real value no longer has a way to emerge.
Now is the phase of disillusionment. After disillusionment, it will be about doing real work, doing it efficiently. And that’s a good thing.
