Venus: Reviewing the accounts affected by the depegging of WBETH to assess fair solutions.
BlockBeats news, on October 11, the lending protocol Venus on BSC announced on social media that the official team is aware of the WBETH price decoupling issue, which led to some users being unexpectedly liquidated during the fall early this morning. The team is actively investigating the incident, reviewing the affected accounts, and assessing fair follow-up steps. Meanwhile, the official team is strengthening Risk Management and Oracle Machine protection measures to help prevent similar incidents in the future. It is reported that WBETH decoupled during the extreme fall this morning, dropping to as low as $430 (ETH dropped to $3435), with the WBETH/ETH Exchange Rate falling to 0.2, currently reported at 1.06, and the WBETH coin price currently reported at $4097 (ETH at $3840).
