Aave Labs 创始人兼 CEO Stani Kulechov 表示，该模式将其定位为 DAO 的长期服务提供方，在 DeFi 与传统金融融合的背景下，为 Aave 抢占新兴增长赛道奠定基础。作为对价，Aave Labs 向 DAO 申请约 5000 万美元支持，其中包含 75,000 枚 AAVE，用于相关产品的持续开发，并建议设立基金会管理 Aave 品牌事务。
不过，DAO 内部反应并不一致。部分成员认为，该提议在形式上有利于代币持有者，但对资金请求与治理权集中表达担忧。活跃成员 Marc Zeller 指出，Aave Labs 在缺乏充分协商的情况下提交方案，并要求对其收入来源进行审计，以核实“100% 收益”承诺的可执行性。
事实上，双方的紧张关系由来已久。2025 年底，Aave Labs 曾被指控挪用应归 DAO 的收入，引发市场恐慌，AAVE 价格一度从 200 美元跌至 140 美元附近。尽管今年 1 月达成“停火”，但治理结构与品牌控制权仍是核心争议点。
