June 28 - Expectations and disappointing from a Pioneer Only a few hours left until Pi2Day, the day that the entire Pi Network community, like me, is holding its breath in anticipation. Today, June 28, is not just a simple commemorative number from π (3.14) doubling. It is the day that I - a steadfast Pioneer - have been waiting for all year. For the past few years, I have kept hoping, then disappointing, and then hoping again. I am truly tired of the promises of "soon to launch the Mainnet," "soon to be listed"... but the result is still just KYC, KYC, and KYC. What does the Core Team promise this year? Phase 2 of KYC? Integration with AI? I feel disappointed because these are not what people really expect. We need a clear roadmap for the Mainnet and the ability to list on major exchanges. Not these small exchanges where the price keeps fluctuating and nobody can understand. Looking at the price chart of the last 3 months is heartbreaking. From a peak of 1.4 dollars down to 0.56 dollars, a decrease of more than 30%. But is there anyone who can guarantee that this is the real price? When the Mainnet is still partially closed, Pi is not yet truly circulating freely. More concerning, an additional 268 million tokens will be released in July. This is an unprecedented figure until 2027. This will surely create downward price pressure. I have been mining Pi for nearly 4 years, but now it feels like I am holding onto an increasingly distant dream. This year's Pi2Day must be a real turning point! It's no longer the time for vague promises. If the Core Team cannot provide a concrete roadmap for the full opening of the Mainnet and listing, I fear that many Pioneers like me will lose faith. In this highly competitive cryptocurrency market, every day of delay is a lost opportunity. Pi Network was once expected to bring cryptocurrency closer to everyday users, but now, everything seems to be just a never-ending chain of promises. I will still click the mining button every day, but my trust is gradually running out. Will Pi2Day this year really be a turning point, or will it be another disappointing day?
